About Me

I was born and raised in beautiful Alma, Michigan. Leaving for the Air Force after high school took me to Texas, California, New Jersey and a couple of smaller trips to other countries. I married my high school sweetheart in that time, Meg, and we both realized that we did not want to live in someone else’s hometown. After we returned home from my enlistment, I began working for a heavy construction equipment company that gave me the opportunity to recruit, train, retain, and develop individuals for the company. As well as the opportunity to develop, manage, and maintain all aspects of the heavy equipment business. At that time, I also began my career in pastoral ministry. I had a great mentor, George Showers, that taught me a lot about life, people, and what is important. While working and raising a family I received my master’s degree from Winebrenner Theological Seminary and became ordained through the Churches of God, General Conference out of Findlay, Ohio. I really enjoy pastoring a church, leading in business, and raising my family. However, after the passing of my dear friend, Pastor George Showers, I knew that I could no longer continue in the heavy equipment industry. The nature of the work pulled me out of the communities in which I serve making it difficult to respond to community and family needs.

Fortunately, over the years my wife and I become good friends with Jayson Sumerix. He helped us buy and sell several homes. He did it in such a way that it was enjoyable, exciting, and stress free. Meg and I want to be a part of that. We enjoy helping people achieve their dream of home ownership and get to be in the community in which we serve. My business experience and love of seeing success lends itself well to commercial real estate as well. So here I am today, ready to serve you in any way I can.

Residential Real Estate

Buying or selling your home is an important moment of your life and it should be enjoyable. However, like so many other important moments in life, the level of enjoyment you feel when the moment arrives depends on the amount of work that has been put in on the front end. When it comes to your home, searching, marketing, calling, negotiating, answering questions, etc… can take the enjoyment out of “the moment” of buying or selling your home. Especially if you have other responsibilities like your profession or taking care of your family.

When you partner with me, I take care of all the stuff that takes the joy out of buying or selling your home. I streamline the process by utilizing my knowledge, network, and relentless work ethic. No matter where you are in the process of buying, selling, dreaming, or planning for your home, I would love to hear about it. Call, email, or text me today.

Commercial Real Estate

I know what it means to serve well. I served my country in the United States Air Force. There I learned what it means to be effective. After I completed my enlistment, I went into the business world of construction. There I learned what it means to be efficient. Successful business ventures know how to balance effectiveness with efficiency to achieve their desired result. Much of your efficiency and effectiveness hinges on the right property. Finding the right property takes asking the right questions and answering those questions with data not emotion.

Picking me for your team means these questions will get asked. The answers will be found, and your vision will become a reality. No matter where you are in the process of buying, procuring, prospecting, visioning, or moving your business, call me. I love to celebrate success.
